It's done, it's done, it's done!!

Happy Tuesday Everyone!!

I am so excited to announce that my craft room is finished! Well, I guess it's not completely, absolutely finished as there are a few things I still need to get like another chair, a rug and some organization of the scrapping stuff but the actual construction stuff and getting everything back in there is finished. And it looks mahvolous darling, just mahvolous!! See....(click picture to make larger)

I won't bore you with all the detailed pictures I took. I'm trying to make my posts shorter so that maybe someone will actually want to read them!

Got a bit of stitching done this weekend. Here's an update!

Thanks for stopping in. Have a great day!

  1. I love your craft room! How excited you must be! I think that doors especially give it sound a great touch! And I love your thread set up! I may have to do something like that. I just put all my threads in those drawers and was wondering how to store them. I think I've found the answer! Thanks so much and I hope you have many happy hours in your new room!!!

  2. Thanks Deb! That box Dan built around the cabinets really helped to dress them up. That's why I was looking for another box the same size as the other in my previous post. We got creative though and made the taller cabinet work.

  8. Oh, Julie! Your room is wonderful! I also love the thread set up - I have two of those type cabinets and mine are just sitting on the table top - I much prefer your method. Kudos to your hubby! I also love the color and those doors are awesome! Enjoy!!!

  9. Thanks Terri, I'll pass the kudos on to Dan. He built those doors from scratch because the opening wasn't a standard size. I didn't want to be boxed in so I requested screen doors.

  21. I am green with envy. If I had a room like that I would think I had died and gone to heaven! I tried to persuade DH a loft conversion would be good but, for some reason, he's not keen - perhaps the cost puts him off!

  26. Mommy Dearest, what fun would it be if I told you what it was going to be? You're just gonna have to be patient!

I have had several requests for more pictures, especially on the floss storage so I'm working on getting the pictures ready and will post in the morning.

  28. Beautiful studio! Luck duck! I have to share my space in the family/game room. I usually resort to the kitchen table when ready to sew.
